Hi,
I'm making CDs with divx avis on them. These are for my grandma wich doesn't have my knowledge of computers... So I want my cds to be as easier as possible. Since that the computer needs the divx codec and directx (for the player), I've put them on the cd.
When the cd is incerted, the included (open source ) player start in fullscreen. But if directx isn't installed, it craches. And if divx codec isn't istalled, only sound come out of it...
I've already written a delphi 6 program that choose between the WinNT or Win9X player. I'm looking for a way to automaticaly install the needed codec/directx.
Does anyone knows how I could detect if DirectX and DivX is installed or not?
tanx!
