default language and subtitles

i usualy backup some dvd video and some of them i only use one language (audio) and one subtitle

when i play the converted dvd video (dvd-r), the language (audio-english) its always selected but the subtitles arent selected, i always have to turn them on in my dvd remote control

is there a way to put subtitles by default when the video stars?

i use ifoedit to strip stream from original.

can anyone help me?

I don't think so. All my DVDs is had to be turn on, when playback. May be somebody can made it, I'm not sure.
