can anybody please tell me how to use a data link from a sony-ericsson T300 to the pc in order to transfer pics to pc? All i have is the phone, pc and cable. do i need anything else to make them work? thanks for your time.

did you not get any software with your Data link cable !?
Most good cable suppliers will provide the correct software to use with the phone !?
If not i suggest possibly emailing tec support at sony- ericsson and asking them direct here http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?page=start&ver=portalpage_1_4
