Seems to be THE soundcard :)
I personally own a SB Live Platinum .. wonderful card ... everything works, and no problems at all :)

Yep I had a Live Plat...worked fine...hmm but then I bought an Audigy and spent a life to get it work fine on pro appz...oh my God: latency, noise and bad loops, better forget it :)
Creative support sucks...and make drivers which should be SMAller and WORKing :D:D:D

hmmz ... I thought about buying the Audigy bcz of the firewire ..
I got a DV camera, so .. yeah ...
As you said now .. Maybe I should rethink :)

Another think I should make a mind of:
Renaming the forum from CDRSoft Forum to CDRSoft Chat ..
Fucking fast replys :D

Eh eh the firewire works fine for me even tho I heard about some compatibility issues with certain device, my Sony DV cam has no problems ;)
Creative sorted out many troubles about this card with the latest drivers but can't understand why it took hemmm 8 months to get 1 update !
Yeah that's incredible, they left us with the drivers included in the card for so loooong and they were aware about the problems...;)
I had a list of all the bugs that users found in 8 months and it was for the just for laughs section :D
I remember one of them was like: " Audigy bad noise outputting samples via Asio driver" Well that was the only thing I bought it for !! Asio !!! :D Now works.. a bit late?

Yeah you are right ...
I just know the LIVE product .. not the Audigy, and my LIVE SB always worked fine .. so I thought same would be for Audigy ...
Strange ! Usually Creative only releases real good products ...

I personally have never had any problems with any Sound Blaster cards... and I've owned about every version of sound card they have released... currently I have an Audigy OEM edition sound card (just the card rubberbanded to a driver CD) and it works great! Couldn't ask for better sound at that price and I have had no problems with the Firewire port... perhaps I have been lucky...:D

hmmm audigy is mainly a card for gamers (well after the driver update as the EAX made just a big noise before ;)), but claim to be a pro for musician too, well can't be compared to real pro cards IMHO. Btw now I have it...so have to use this one till I have some money to buy another card :D
