copys to dvd-r problem ** help needed**

hi i have got a hold of some (pirate dvds) from the market,,,,i am trying to copy them can any 1 tell me what is the best dvd-dvd-r programme as i have tried clonedvd,nero ultra,x-copy,,,,,,,,,,and all of these seem to run into trouble........they all seem to read the dvd ok...........but about 17% into the write process it fails,,,,,,,,,,,,but i can copy others.......i need help and quick

Hello sounds like the dvd has a scratch on it and thats why havin problems
I have had the same issue and sometimes the dvd has what I call hot spots and cant be read.... all the way.... try rippin it to hard drive and see if that might solve your troubles

Well you said you bought "pirate dvds" so for that reason I'm locking this. To me that means you bought back ups and till I know different I'm closing this. You need to read the rules.
