Copyright problems

I am trying to play back movies on my dvd player. These are original dvd's that I have purchased. When I try to play most of them they wont work and I get an error of "Cannot play back due to a copyright protection problem" I have all the current Video drivers and all the codecs and I have tried numerous dvd players. I have a nec dv 5007a dvd player. Can Anyone Help? Thanks alot 'Jeathdeff'

check the region code printed on your DVDs or their covers, then check if you have setup the correct region code in Device Manager > CD/DVD ROM > nec dv 5007a > Properties > Region Code;
you can switch the region code only 4 (or 5 times);

Thank's for your response, but it appears that my settings are correct. My region is set for USA/CANADA and both are region #1. I will keep trying. Jeathdeff
