Can anybody tell me if you can get a program that will copy a dvd movie to a dvd disc without removing copy protection, sort of like CLONECD does with CDR's ?

I'm sorry. Tha'ts no way u can do that!!! Like Clone CD 1:1 copy.
Due to all the DVDs had good prodection codes and Nos.
Dual layer in 1 side 4.7GB X 2.
9.4GB authoring the disc. So can u copy 1:1 ???
Only DVD-RAM had tha't volume.
But can't play in desktop player event u copyed.

I tried to copy dvd for some time with some sucess. I use DVD Decrypter 3.1.1.0 to rip a ISO image and deCSS. I use DVD Workshop 1.2 to burn the ISO image to a DVD+RW (with a HP DVD200i). You have to format the disc first and the ISO file cannot be bigger than 4.5 GIG. I can play the movie in my PC with WinDVD4 and I can watch it in my Pioneer DVD player with no problems. All together it takes about 30 minutes to complete. Not bad!!
Hardware: P4 2.2Gig,512MB,ATI7500,AOpen DVD 16X,HP DVD200i writer, WinXPPro.

If the movie fits within the DVD-R size, then sure you can copy 1:1 ---> make an .iso on your HD.. a good program for just one click copying is Primo Prassi DVD 2.0, available at cdrsoft....
Though the films that fit within the size limit are usually special interest, music, adult titles..
You should update Primo Prassi to see drives like the Pioneer A04 etc... please browse to this thread for that information..
