Cooledit pseudo stereo???

Where is the option for making a pseudo stereo file from a mono file hidden (CE 2.0)?
I only install CE when I need it and that's almost never, so I'm not really familiar with the program. There is a pseudo stereo option somewhere (i have used it before), but where??? (I don't mean merging 2 mono files)

got ce 2.1 but shouldn't make a difference, there is "open as ..." in the file menu below "open ..."
after selecting your file ce asks for the sample rate, channels (mono/stereo) and resolution
