Cool Edit Pro 2k Problem

Hey every1,
I have tried to install CEP2k twice now...
Everything installs smoothly, and the reg file from this site works great

Only problem is that there is a frustrating sync problem with the recording and playback. The cursor seems to be about 5-9 seconds ahead of any audio (which makes accurate editing a b*tch).
Also, many times when recording a new track in Multi-track mode, when the track is played back it isn't anywhere close to being in the correct sync...Again, anywhere from 5-9 seconds off...

I'm running a Soundblaster Live (mp3) sound card, 256mb RAM - have tried several different settings with no improvment - Never had this problem with CEP1.2 or 1.2a?

Please help! v2K has many neat features I like, and I'd rather not go back to 1.2a if I don't have to

?? recording with it?
I only use it to edit music. You would have to zoom in on the editing tracks to get closer in seconds for the sound wavs.
There is a button at lower right you can use (sorry don't have mine open right now, just trying to go by memory). Anyhow, you can zoom in to edit as close to .002 seconds or something like that.
If still problems or can't find the zoom feature, post again & I'll just open & take pics of things.
You could also try Cool Edit Pro 2 (not the cool edit 2K version)

Would you believe I was actually talking about CEP2 (not 2k) in the first place... Must have been sleep at the wheel again.

I have tried zooming, and it does help a little bit, but does not solve the problem entirely.

Where I have the most trouble with it is in Multi-tracking, where a freshly recorded track will be out of sync with all the other tracks...

the1artisan your not the only one my brother has had the same prob in cepro2, i dunno if hes fixed it, but if you haven't already you should update to the lastest sblive drivers that were released a few days ago
