Converting ogm movie to vcd

Hi I am new to the whole converting digi files to vcd and was wondering if someone could point me towards some info on on how to make a disc I can play in my DVD player from a movie I downloaded that is saved in the .ogm format. Is it the same as the tutorial by Chickenman for making a Divx or AVI conversion?

Thanks

You can try this guide here at DVDRHelp.com. This guide is for converting to (S)VCDs http://www.dvdrhelp.com/forum/userguides/89139.php . Hopefully this isn't too complicated to figure out, I won't be able to give you much help with it since I don't have to use Graphedit too often, and I have never converted OGM files to another format. Good luck.

Last time I checked TMPGEnc could handle OGM fine as a video source but not audio, even with an OGG ACM codec installed.

Although the above statement assumes that the audio stream(s) are vorbis. Also I guess TMPGEnc would have problems with multiple audio streams anyway.

Use VirtualDubMod to demux the audio stream you want, then decode it to wav with OGGDropXPd or whatever.

Then load the OGM as the video source and your wav as the audio source.

I guess you could also use graphedit instead of VirtualDubMod I wouldn't use mp3 filter though just leave the audio as PCM. Also if you are muxing the video into an AVI, last time I checked you had to have the avi mux interleave setting on full, either that or re-index the keyframes.
