converting .dat to .mpeg format

Any program which convert dat format to mpeg format so I could
make VCD , as none program take dat format for making vcd

If its a svcd u are converting, just rename to mpeg.
Use dvd2avi to process and then tmpgenc to encode to vcd as per the tutorials.

if its vcd, use nero, it'll take the .dat happily, you don't need to encode it. Otherwise you might use VCD Gear where you can find everwhere!! cheers..

A DAT file should always be converted to an MPG file if you wish to further process it. A DAT file is NOT an MPG file.

As has been said, use VCDGear (_www.vcdgear.cm) or Isobuster (_www.isobuster.com) to convert DAT to MPG.
