convert mpeg2 to vcd

i have tryed all
i have try tmp crash the only software working is videostudio 6
but it's took too long time
the file is downloaded from sat reciver via scsi
30 min are 1036 Mbits
this is a file/s from dvb sat system not from tv card till now use nero only to trascode to mpg1 vcd format than edit cut paste merge with myflix save it to vcd format than use nero to burn
it took to convert 90 mins to editabl format 180 t0 210 mins

run it through DVD2AVI and then use tmpgenc to encode it to mpeg1(vcd)
Just use Chickenmans tutorial on backing up dvd to vcd but load the mpeg2 file into DVD2AVI instead of the ripped vob files.
Follow the rest of the tut and you'll be fine.
I've used this method to convert afew svcd movies to vcd with excellent results.
