Convert DVD PAL to DVD NTSC

I just got my DVD burner and I need to convert a DVD in PAL format to NTSC.
Since I'm new to this, what is the easiest way to do it?

Why burn to NTSC when PAL is the format all UK players use not DVD NTSC

I assume you tested your DVD Player and it wont play PAL, is that correct ?
