Connecting PC output to a TV

I want to connect my ATI Allin wonder 128 output to a TV using the S Video output on the card to a S Video to Scart adaptor to my VCR.....to transfer DIVX & Home movies from my PC to VHS tape....All I can get is black & white for some reason

The adaptor has been changed so it's not faulty

If I later buy a TV with S Video in will this be more simple and possibly work

Any help would be appreciated

You have to set up you TV as PAL (take a look @ the various settings of your drivers). b/w IMO is caused right now because your TV is set up as NTSC by default.
I also get a black screen when through my driver settings I choose S-Video as connection between PC and TV. When I switch it to Composite it plays fine. Weird thing is that I use a S-Video cable!!
