Configuring Sygate to work with progs

Hey, I was trying to play some Worms : World Party (im using Sygate 5 Pro, latest build and everything) and I can create games, but cannot join any (I cant even see them). When testing my network w/ the option worms provides, it says that it cannot detect my IPX protocol (what does that mean)? I went to the Worms FAQ and it gave me a list of TCP/UDP ports for my firewall to allow, so, I went to the advanced options of the worms program which has already been set to "allow" and for both remote and local server ports, I typed in the ports that should be allowed. I still cant see any games or anything.. What should I do??

Heh! Right Game! LOL! :D
Anyways, if you can't see any games, it properly that your clock setting is incorrect. Set your computer clock to the correct time & timezone and try again. If that doesn't work, try applying the next timezone and then back to the orginal again. Remember, this has nothing to do with Sygate.

And creating games, no one would be able to join your games if you do not map your ports. After mapping the ports, there is something else you will need to do before someone can join your games, or else no one will ever get in your game. :D

1. Open Registry Editor
2. Press CTRL+F, Enter Team17SoftwareLTD in the text box and then click search. (You can just search for "Keys")
3. Open up the Team17SoftwareLTD key, then enter the WormsWorldParty subkey, finally goto the NetSettings subkey.
4. Once there, change the AddressOverride value from 0 to 1.
5. Change the value for "LocalAddress" to your *EXTERNAL IP*, if you do not know your external IP or do not know what it is, you can get your external IP here: http://www.whatismyip.com/
6. Once you do all of the above, you may play worms freely just like you are on the host.

Notes: If your external IP changes, the LocalAddress field should be updated to your new external IP. This field will not update by itself.
If you want to turn this off, just switch the "AddressOverride" value back to 0, changing the value back to 0 causes Worms World Party to automatically detect your internal IP. Remember, Worms World Party will not detect your external IP.

Hope this helps! :)
