Rules for Computers that appear in the Movies:

• All computers in the world are connected, and you can get any information from them, even when they are turned off.
• Powerful computers beep whenever you pressa key or text appears on the screen. The really powerful ones even make sounds like a teleprinter or dor matrix printer as the words slowly appear on the screen.
• All computers have explosive devices beneath the keyboard that go off in a flash and a bang, violently throwing the user back when something malfunctions or the wrong key is pressed.
• Users simply turn off their computers after typing long documents. And they dont bother to save them.
• Any hacker can get into the most secret computer in the world before reel two, and has a special way of typing on the keyboard that runs a program which will work out the password within seconds.
• Movie modems transmit data slightly faster than the ones we use ...... around 20 Megabites per second.
