Computer XM Satellite Radio ?

Hello Folks,

I don’t know if any American Forum Members are into the XM Satellite Radio scene. There is a product that will connect to your computer that allows you to listen to 120 channels which 68 channels are commercial free and with the TimeTrax software program can record the XM Satellite radio programming to your computer.

The original product called XM PCR which sold for $49.00 was discontinued and has been selling on eBay for $300-$400. Recently some enterprising individuals have been marketing a new product that replaces the XM PCR. These folks figured out how to use a XM Satellite radio receiver designed for an automobile and manufacture an interface cable to connect the receiver to your computer. This new product called the DirectPCR connects to your computer through the USB port and allows you to listen to XM Satellite Radio programming and with the TimeTrax software allows recording of XM Satellite radio programming. To be able to receive XM Satellite Radio programming you have to subscribe to the programming, which cost $9.99 month. XM Satellite radio programming is said to be near CD audio quality.

The following link provides information on the DirectPCR computer XM Satellite radio.
