Hello,
I wonder if anyone can offer some advice.
I have just finished work on a large product for the global consumer market. I need a way to make it difficult for the final DVD-rom to be copied. The DVD ROM contains very large amount of html pages and flash movies. Upon insertion into a computer it offers the option to run the 'website' locally from the users hard drive (IE it can be copied onto the users machine).
Is it possible to use PGP encryption to secure the contents of the DVD/local copy?
We have considered serial numbers, and will most likely use them. We also want some way to deter the average user from easily copying and distributing our copyrighted product.
The security solution to this problem should protect the DVD's content as well as the local copy on the users machine from piracy.
Can anyone please help? Or point us in the right direction?
