codec maybe

im tmpgenc.....having now converted my bin files to mpeg as i want to burn them to dvd....but when i try to open them with tmpgenc using the browse option it says it is unsupported so i assume this is a codec problem?

anyone help?

if it isnt what do i do...if it is what codec do i need in order to make this file ready for authoring

Sounds like its a SVCD mpeg and TMPGEnc cant handle them. There is a free MPEG2 pluggin available, you can get it from the authors home page at http://www.marumo.ne.jp/mpeg2/ Its in Japanese but just download the m2v_vfp-0.6.48.lzh file, unrar and copy the m2v.vfp file to your TMPGEnc folder.

had discussion in PM regards this chicky she has stripped out the mpgs using gear and joined them with tmpgenc as per mpeg tools she now wishes to convert them to dvd so i suggested TMPGGENC dvd author or DVDLAB or other authoring tool but she still is having some problems !?

I wish people would refer to programs by their correct name

TMPGEnc DVD Author is an athoring program, TMPGEnc is an encoder.
