cms10.temp prob

could anyone help with a little problem im having, i tried to run webroot window washer 5.5 and it froze solid as soon as it started on the temp folder.
after reboot i thought il run my av (f-prot 3.15a) which when it reached the same temp folder stopped dead...the file is cms10.temp ,. if anyone could shed any light on my plight i would be most gratefull

have you tried removing this file in safemode !?

the file may be in use by windows it could be a temp file used by anything thats running in normal mode ?!

ooops sorry viper hadnt thought of that... il give it a try a bit later as im slaving at work at the mo.....lol

did as u said viper, there were 2 files tho cms10.tmp and cms19.tmp . i had not only delete them but empty recycle bin as well while in safe mode...... once again thanx i learned something new
