i try vobsub216 but it can't "see" the subs..

can you help,please?

thanks in advance!

Sorry to disappoint you but I really have no idea ! I rarely do anything with subtitles and hate them on movies. :(

Shadoe_Phantom should be able to help you though.

am still experimenting with subtitles also (with DivX's).
From what I gather you will need to convert the subtitle files you have into SSA (the sub/srt into ssa) & then Mux it together with nandub (via a filter in nandub) to have the subtitles hardcoded/permanent.
Am still experimenting with that ('cause many different methods) till I find one I like.
Sorry I can't be of much help on this yet. Once I find a good solution for this I will post or let ChickenMan know & he can put a small part of it into one of his tuts maybe.
I will find a solution for this soon though. Having some trouble with a few of my anime titles that go out of sync the flaskmpeg method, so trying other sources (virtual/nandub) till it works good =).

Maybe the following solution can help you!
1) Convert the (.sub and/or .srt) subtitles to .ssa with subrip
2) Use VirtualDub subtitle plugin (from VirtualDub) to mux them with the final avi

Download SUPRIP & VirtualDub PLUGIN from _www.doom9.org
(I've been using this procedure for a long time and seems to work fine for me)

:p

nice one landok. I didn't know you could use subrip to convert sub & srt files into ssa types (I thought it just created sub files).
Will try this method & see how well it goes.
