CloneCD & LiteOn 48126S

Hi there,

Seem to be having a problem with new
LiteOn and newest CloneCD.
It just sits there doing nothing when
you attempt to read a cd in clone
or try to copy cd to cd.
It worked well with the 40125W and
24102B in my other machine.

This machine

Celeron 466MHz
64Meg RAM

Any feedback would be great.

Yes,more RAM is definitely needed.I wouldn't even attempt on the fly with that configuration.You may also need a newer version of Clone cd for that new burner,if you don't have it already.;)

I have the Lite-On 48126S and it has worked flawlessly with the latest Clone CD version 4.0.1.10. I do have over one Gig of RAM though and I updated the CDRW with the latest firmware.

I would first upgrade your RAM to what joripe suggested, 256 MB, then upgrade your CDRW firmware.

I also have the same liteon cdrw and works great with CloneCD. I have an Atlhon 1300 + 256mb DDR. Last updates of firmware from liteon pages add more media support, but doesn't fix other problems, at least that's was I understood reading the few explanation lines frome liteon web site, so by now I didn't flash it becouse it's working ok with the cd's frequently sell by here.
