I've been running Clicknburn (Prassi/Veritas) for 2 years from Win98 to XP Pro. Now, every once in a while when burning MP3's to an audio CD, one song will be totally silent. It will occupy the correct length of time but no audio. Totally quiet.
Using an Abit KR7A 1800+, 512m of memory, Adaptec 2940AU SCSI, 2 Plextor Drives, reader PW40TS, the burner being PXW1210S. Got me baffled.
No problem with data CD's, wav to audio....even OK on VCD burns.
Totally not predictable.......Any song position......Can burn another copy of the same song list and it's OK.
Tried turning off NAV to no avail. Burns OK through E.A.C with ASPI 4.71 through Adaptec. Rips at 25X plus with no issues.
I dunno....any ideas????
