Welcome to the forum.
As the bandit said, download VFAPI from _http://www.doom9.org/software.htm and it will convert the *.D2V file to a *.AVI file (takes a minute or so) and then CCE will acept that AVI no problems. Can use either CCE ver 2.5, 2.62 or 2.64.
