Choosing a new MP3 CD Player

Well I'm usually good with software and know just about nothing about hardware. I'm trying to decide on a good Portable cd player with mp3 playback with the cost being around $70 (US). I have a few picked out and Im really now sure which is the best out of all of them. Here are some links to the ones I've choosen:

Philips EXP325 MP3

Viper_182, I've gone through two Expanium models and I'm on my 3rd. .mp3 Discman, this time a Sony, I'm using one that's a step up from yours, the D-NE715.. and it works fine, the gap between songs is shorter than on the Philips models, the CD anti-jump is invincible and the sound is a tad boomy with the bass on, but that's the way I like it..

I think that whole family of Sony's are more or less identical, apart from power abilities, rechargeable batteries etc.. and visual appeal..

The Sony will play - ATRAC3plus, ATRAC3, MP3, WMA, WAV, so, for a start, that's a format more than the Philips!, but the Atrac is nothing to write home about, its got more soup in the sound than a scotch broth, def.a step down from .mp3 imho.

btw, I go to download software and mp3's, bump the lot on a multisession or normal burn CDR or CDRW, pop it in.. and the Sony picks up on the music files like that! (clicks fingers), not bad at all, not a fussy player from that point of view, will accept 99% of mixed media CD's you pop in, wav, mp3, data, whatever.. and it'll do its best to play the music quickly. For me, the Sony has been a player I don't notice, 'cause it does what I want it to do.. it just sits there and plays music without bothering me with any noticeable limitations..

The model I have has rechargeable batteries, to me, that is the best thing about it, I just plug the player into the wall for an hour.. and its charged, I don't think this kinda player would appeal to me if I had to buy batteries every couple of hours, as you'd replace the set about four times before reaching the end of your 1st .mp3 CD compilation! :)
