ChickenMan please help no way to rip the audio of the DVD Rosenkavalier Opera

Dear ChickenMan,
I use Your method (DVD2SVCD and CCE) with success form a long time but now I can't put on svcd this DVD by RCA Red Seal BMG of Liryc Opera "Rosenkavalier". I try to explain briefly the problem that is regarding the audio track.
When I rip with SmartRipper there is only one audio Stream that is Deutch and the stream number is 0A! The audio stream is linear PCM 48 Khz 16 bit.
In DVD2SVCD in the Conversion tab I set the Audio stream n.1 to 0A Deutch LPCM.
I run the conversion the program go ahead perfectly, after is extracted the audio stream in WAV and try to encode the audio nothing is encoded. This is what is written in the log file

G:\Programmi\DVD2SVCD\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input
N:\DER_ROSENKAVALIER\VIDEO_TS\Extracted_audio_1.wav -output N:\DER_RO~1
\VIDEO_TS\Encoded_audio_1.mp2 -logfile N:\DER_RO~1
\VIDEO_TS\Encoded_audio_1.log ) -ota( -g max ) -shibatch( --rate
44100 ) -2lame( -e -b 192 -m s )

Try to use,,

Try useing dvd2avi !
Load the vob's in dvd2avi - select 'Demux all streams' in Dolby digital - Channel format =auto select.
Under file - select save project !!!

Then u should have a AC3 file ready to convert to wave/mp2 or whatever u want (throug tmpeg or acid lame)

Hope this helps out :p

Greetz all

A lot of programs struggle with PCM (normal WAV) audio in DVD's so we need to extract the audio some other way.

As oscarwilli said, run DVD2AVI (1.77.3 or 1.76), load in ifo file, set in Audio the Output Method to be Decode to WAV, set to Track 1 and then Save Project. Shortly you will have a *.WAV file. Copy this to you folder where all the DVD2SVCD files are and rename it to Extracted_audio_1.wav Then run DVD2SVCD, in Mics tab hit RECOVER button, load in the *.d2s file and start at Audio Conversion. It will then continue as normal.

Ufortunately the method suggested did not work, but I solved the problem in this way:
- the only program able to read the wav file generated by DVD2AVI is Blaze Media Pro;
- so I loaded the wav file in Blaze media pro and use the Wav Compress function of the program that creates a new wav file, and voillà the wav file is readeble and DVD2SVCD converted in .m2p audio file and finished the work.
Many thanks for the help and I hope that this solution could help somebody in cases like this

Bye Bye
