@chickenman

First of all thanks for yor answer!! I have installed the release 1.1.1 Build2 an d everythings works but....

the quality of the svcd is bad, because the film jerks like there are missing frames.

Do you have any sugestions for this?

Where are you from, is it a PAL or NTSC that your trying to backup? Did you click on the NTSC to PAL option? If you did it will be jerky. Solution, dont tick that box.

Hey Chickenman,

i don´t know ift it is NTSC Or PAL, The option box in DVD2SVCD is greyed ( i mean not reachable). It´s an polish video and its a Xvid .

If its greyed out then its PAL. Hmm.. does the Xvid play on the PC without being jerky? Right click the Xvid and go to Properties, what is the frame rate?

@chickenman

The Avi plays fine on the PC. The Frame rate is: 25.000 FPS

Aspect Ratio: 544 x 304 (1.789 : 1)

Avg Bitrae: 799 kb/s

FouCC: xvid

Codec: XviD

That is what Gspot 1.1 says
:(

Then I see no reason why it should be jerky, unless the original avi was jerky. PAL stuff converts so darn easy.

Many thanks for your help , chickenman:D. I try to dl the Xvidcodec from _dnsalias.com and start a second try.

If it will be the same, than the friends family for who i try to make this SVCD have to look at their PC.

:) Greetings:)
