checking available space in PDIControl

Hello!
I found a problem in the PDIControl tool. The tool tries to check the available space for the iso file and says "Cant proceed! [...] You need to free [...] Bytes." when there is not enough space on the destination drive.
My special problem is a official feature of NTFS5. I mount my data drive (with about 100 GB of disk space) as as folder in the root of drice C:. In fact there is not enough space for the iso file on drice C: but the file goes to another drive!
It would be fine to have the option to disable the disk space checking or to ignore the warning.
Bye

Hi Thomas!

welcome to the forum!
I've never worked before with mountpoints, so i am not familiar with their behaviour. Could you please do me a faviour and run the little test application i attached to this post.
Just hit the Get Free Space button, select the mounted disks folder, if everything works like i suppose the 'simple' value should be the free space of your C: drive and the advanced the one of your folder-mounted-drive.
If so, i will implement the advanced detection mechanism into the next release of InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor!

Hi!
It works fine! :)
The advanced checking shows exactly the amount of free space of the mounted drives as the explorer shows. It works with mounted drives and also with mounted folders (via the tool junction by sysinternals).

Hi TheMadGuy!

I'm using ICHSE 1.4.2 now.
Could you please implement the advanced space check on ntfs mount points?
I'm still looking for it.
