cd's not refreshing

i have xp pro and when i put in a cd and go to look at in windows explorer
it fine but if i take out that cd and put in a different it doesnt show the change its as if i had the first cd in i have to reboot for it to see the different cd specially data cd's whats the cure

Are U leaving the first Cd window open???

Try pressin F3 2 refresh the window

yea but even if i close the window the same thing happens

I have the same problem here using windows xp pro sp1. I think the problem comes from vmware/virtual pc witch disable autorun or something like this.

To be honest I don't know...

I've never tryed to fix it... Do you have vmware or virtual pc installed?

i dont think so what is it virtual pc i havent put a programe called that on my pc
it does have sp1 installed though i wonder if it might have anything to do with any of the updates ie security patches etc.from microsoft
