CDRWIN 3.9c

ty for the update use this a lot for me bin and cue files :) i like it because i find it easy to use for them !? maby im just old fashioned lol !?

Is this release any better/worse than previous versions? Just curious as I have never used the app myself. Ill give it a try though...thanks for the info RASTABT!

Used this program once about 2-3 years ago never used it since.
Just like anything give it a try like you say bro and let us know how you find this version....:)

@VIPER_1069:if you wanna burn .bin and .cue, use Burnatonce.......it's freeware and is much easier to use.....just doubleclick a cue, anywhere on your system, and the program pops up to burn it,it can also automaticly correct wrong cue files AND burn safedisk 2 with the right hardware.....:D

Cdrwin had become the standard PXs copying program before clone cd. It still has a rock solid burning engine and dous a great job of burning audio CDs

thanks for the post

Did anyone ever resolve if it was REALLY leeching off CDRECORD or CDRDAO code? - one accusation often levelled....

Another accusation also levelled is that an antiparacy measure included causing actual harm to system files, not just screwing up burns like Feurio "beep beep - Illegal copy", but causing deliberate harm.

Now not working right, even lulling the (ab)user into a false sense of success, are quite acceptable punishments.

But deliberate damage is a contravention of computer related laws in many countries - even (and this is stupid!) if the program were only to destroy itself.

CDRWin 3.9c - DVD support???

Funny, despite official info, no support for Sony DRU500A.
Indicated as unsupported reader.
Writer? Not even identified!

Tried the version dated 10 january.
Today it seems a new version dated 11 jan appeared.
Both tested.
Sony DRU500A, no way!

Hey Zeno,why so sad?
There are much better burning apps that do support your burner, and they can perform any task that Cdrwin can....:D

Sad?

I used CDRWin since many years for burning my bin-cue.
Sometimes tested CDMate or Alcohol or Padus.
For usual databackups and Long file names (Romeo) I used also CDRWin or Padus or CDMate.

For Sony I use the Stomp(Veritas) RecordNow Max 4.5. Only for databackups (I need long file names).
CDMate can not DVD.
CDRWin same.
Padus uses to much space for various internal info. I noticed that on my Plextor 24-10-40 when backupping on 700MB. With Padus I could only up to 680MB, with CDMate 702MB, on the same CD (Verbatim-Mitsubishi).

Nero, WinOnCD, all suck when it comes to long file names.

I would be very cautious with keygens/serials with this new version, you possibly might end up with a load of blank cds, but un-usable or get get random write errors. Best wait for someone too rip the protection out as they might be using new protection techniques as in multiple checks, and made them almost impossible to find!

Thanks for the heads up on that Intercept I guess I won't get this now. I'll get it later when so called"protections " have been removed.
