Cdrw

Just a little information i learned the hardway, i have been playing with my settings for a good avi\divx capture and have been useing re writable cd's to test on my standalone dvd player after weeks of doing this and contacting this site for information i discovered what i burn in video to the re writable and play back has problems ,distortion ,jerky ,whatever ,and then i burn same file to a good cdr works great!!! So what i learned was all the time i spent trying to make good avi divx alot of the settings might have been good ,but played back poor with the re writables so i changed settings all the time and got no where ,this is not just one re writable as i have 6 different ones all the same problem.Just a Thought from Experiance. Hope it helps somebody else.

It will all depend on your DVD Player actually. Some prefere CDRW's and wont even plaback a CDR while others its the other way around. Mine will play both with no issues.

What is your DVD Player and model number ?
