CDRW not reading or writing

my cd-rw not reading or writing anything, i have a 52x24x52x one, is it because i overused it too much? because yesterday i burnt over 10 cds in one hour, i dunno cause im a computer newbie

could u give more info on ur system(wat windoz ...) & wat is the brand of ur burner?asus liteon...?
normally it is not recommended 2 burn a lot of cds on the run & @ high speed...
did u do anything else 2 it?

Did you install, uninstall or update any part of Windows or your software between "working ==> not working"?
check the drive status (yellow marks?) in Windows Device Manager;
also check the cable connectors of your drive/cable/controller a 2nd time;
