CDrom & cdwriter not detected

After new installation of winxppro, the Yamaha IDE cdwriter & Liteon cdrom drive cannot by detected by CDEX, EAC & easy cd creator. But i can see the all drives in windows explorer. Aspi layer installed. Guide me to rectify fault.

Well I know EasyCD had a update for drives, do you have the least versions of your programs installed?

plz remove ez cd creator,& then we'll talk business if u're still stuck
if u use the search button well,u will find several posts where the presence of roxio & co(incl ez cd creator) wrecks havoc

CDEX and EAC should work with ASPI; try killing and reinstalling v4.60 (b1021) by using ForceASPI 1.7;

if this doesn't help, it seems you provoked the misfortune by installing easy cd creator;

EAC doesn't even need ASPI explicitly, so I guess that you've installed something like DirectCD/DragToDisc with EZCD Cremator.
