cdr music crackling info req

i burned a few mp3 to cda cd's the brand i used is called multplay
their 80 min im using a liteon 48x12x48 burner iv never had any trouble with the brand of cd's before could it be the writer or the cd's the drive is a LTR-48125S with the latest firmware the drive is brand new the orignal firmware was R481S01 but i changed it to R481S05

set burning speed 4 x (best solution for audio)

some times the latest firmware isn't the best; last try should be a downgrade;

normally you should backup the old firmware by using the flash tool, bevor flashing in the new one;

check LiteOn's homepage;
also you can cry out a "Wanted!" here in the forum;

your right i should have the liteon site doesnt have older firmware
that i could find only the latest ill try lowering the speed and see what happens it works fine with data sometimes it music cd's are ok to so its odd
