Introduction:
CD Shell is a scriptable menu system that provides the ability to create interactive multi-boot optical discs. It will make PC-bootable compact discs or DVD's that can select from several program loaders or kernels located on the disc, or boot from other local disk drives that are attached to the system.

Boot from a floppy drive, hard drive, or any local drive recognized by the BIOS.
Interface with memdisk and Diskemu to allow booting of virtual floppy or hard disk drives through the use of hardware emulation.
Boot Linux kernel images, by interfacing with isolinux.
Boot CD-ROM boot sectors and other Initial Program Loaders (IPLs).
Manage local hard disk partitions through the use of the Ranish Partition Manager interface.
Run interactive menu scripts that use graphics and/or formatted text.
Browse the directories on the CD before booting.
Display the contents of text files located on the CD.
Advanced scripting through the use of variables and flow control statements.
