To correctly centre CD Labels, you need an applicator - and these have "standard", "full face" and Multi variants.

You might get away with using a tub to centre a full face label, but it's not really precise enough (but a lot better than trying to do it by eye).

From the style of kit's that I've seen, and the cheap labels locally:

INLINE = BomaTech (though there are other inline styles)
OFFSET = Pressit (that's an offset pair)
TRIPLE = no idea - I've seen triple layouts in software though
Your software needs to be able to match the layout, which does not concern the applicator used.

STANDARD size have a centre hole larger than the groove in a CD, and fit over the plunger in all standard size applicators.

FULL FACE have a centre hole the size of the CD hole, and require a full face applicator - or some "dirty tricks".

A lot of retail software includes a standard labeller - at a pinch, you might get away with it for full face by locking the plunger down, laying the label in place and then carefully slipping the CD over.

A final point on labelling - a misapplied label can ruin the CD ... if you leave it, it's out of balance, and if you pull it off, you risk delaminating the top coating and silvering, so do not label any CD that you can't re-do if you screw it up.

Even correctly applied labels can be bad for lifespan, particularly if the CD has no added top protection (eg. cheap silver unbranded).
