CD Burning Software

Newbie here:.........So I was just wondering what the best burning software is for my LG GCE-8160B (16x10x40) or just any good burning software in general that could support my burner.......... I tried Nero (newest version) but it took me 4 hours to burn a cd at 4x and 1.5 hours to burn a cd at 8x.........Is this because it recognised this burner as HT-DT-LT GCE-8160B?.........I was wondering this because according to Nero's site, my burner is not supported........I was also wondering if Roxio EasyCD Creator was any good and if it is possible to burn copyrighted cd's with this program.........
Thanks

4 hours prob is cose your burner is not supported, eithet wait or look for another one;Goodones would be in my opinion all prassi-stomp,vob,nti,hotburn, feurio---plain audio mastering superb burning beast>>>at least on my pc<<for all audio thingies, btw is feurio means something on german??????j need a german to answer this!!Dont install all those proggus,go to their sites and check for hardware(supported burners),after go to cdrsoft and take it:) Easy crasher is great app but got one "small"problem which is,no matter what you burn>>audio game data images, will act as they are copyprotected(its garbage.dont even think about).

He was saying Easy Cd Creator is not good for Copywrited discs.Stay clear of it.

Clone cd is the best for copywrited cd's.Your burner is supported!;)

Zver mentioned a program called Hotburn.......is this a good program ie. does it copy proteced/copyrighted cd's........Also, is the HotburnPro v2.0.4 in the cdrsoft.cc downloads section a full version, not just the demo that burns at 1x.............
Thanks

tribal.....you should try diskjuggler also. This program copy everything (cannot load cue sheets though, try vob or cdrwin for that). And it better than nero, those who use will agree its very good program. It can burn copy protected cds with the right burner. Hope you enjoy :)

Dont get me wrong guys,Juggler is great, but for a newbie is not a good go.Best choice simple is prassi stomp hotburn nti(can do all what you need>>hotburn got nice gui and its full version>>cdrsoft download.

well...i've found out that the NTI range of software is compatible with my burner........i was going to download it from the cdrsoft site but i don't know which version i need........can anyone explain what the difference is between CD-Maker and CD-Maker 2000 Professional. Is the update for CD-Maker Professional for CD-Maker 2000 Professional also or are these two different programs?.........Also, for the download of CD-Maker 2000 Professional it says it is a PARADOX release...what is that?..........
thanks

I can confirm that what's been said above 'bout paradox's two latest dupes.

But one way to go is to use Paradox version 5.08 and then get the NTI's update from 5.08 to 5.015. That's the way to get FileCD 2.0, the packet-writer not included into Fosi's 5.08. but comes with Paradox release.
The NTI's update corrects all problems.
