CCE Stalls at 62%

I have been using DVD2SVCD, with CCE 2.50SP for a few months with no problems. All of a sudden, after CCE completes 62% of encode, it just stops. DVD2SVCD says their program is still running, but nothing is happening, and I never receive an error message. I also make sure all my background programs are shut down (anti virus, firewall). Does anybody have any ideas why all of a sudden I can't use CCE?

Could be 1 of a 100 reasons, probably Windows or hardware related rather than CCE, What have you installed lately? Uninstallit. Defrag the HD.

I've been using CCE 2.5 also for a few months myself and has never failed yet under Win2000.

What I ended up doing is changing from 4 pass vbr to cbr, andi5t worked fine. I guess CCE just didn't like Harry Potter. (Can't blame it)
Anyway, all is good again!!
