CCE Problems

Simplest solution is not to use DVDx in the first place, try DVD2SVCD with CCE, they work together fantastic if your making SVCD's or DVD's.

I trryed to encode one movie,audio is mp3,video is;frame rate25,data isa 109,videosize is 24b,divxmpgv3..Its some old movie which i wanna convrt to vcd or svcd--so i can watch it on my standalone dvd..First is it any easier way---couse tutorial is so long...Second i judt downed yesterday newest dvd2svcd,and i got cce and it cannot find cce in a folder--i mean exe?????Its a cce lite 2.64??Can i use tmpegenc???

dvd2svcd package does not include CCE as CCE costs about $2000 and they dont give it away. Yes, absolutely, you can always use TMPGEnc instead of CCE but expect a longer encode time and is limited to a 2 pass VBR (equal to 1 Multipass VBR with CCE) so quality of output is not quite on par with CCE.

about cce---well i knew it cost something
,but prob was with my pc--anyway i read that tut again and as i always make a vcd,now i got problem....You said there about 20-30 files and i got them,but which to trash and which to burn?????i got bbmpegmuxed00 and 01--both around 750mb,also encoded audio1mp2--25 mb,encoded audio1mp2--416 mb,encoded videotmpegenc--1,5gb,one same30mb,encoded audio1--30-40mb...all other files are some logs,ini settings--small size....So which files are now for burning?????

Worked great!!Thanks bud!!Now one question;if i look by price cce should be favorable to tmpegenc!!!?Also when i tryed with tmpegegenc took 5 hours for those 2 discs..with cce2.50 hour and 20 minutes with4 pass...Now when i try to use dvd2svcd with cce2.64,first i got message that he cannot find cce in the folder,but when i cheange cce exe in pulldown menu to all files,and when it shows ccexe,i got message that other 2.xx versions are not stable and i have to use either 2.50 or to check some safe mod in the encoder part in a dvd2svcd proggy!!!Since 2.50 version is from year2000 and 2.64 from2002--is that some bug or i should use always2.50--no matter what!!!If somebody can clarify what is all about or some link where this thing is explained?Thanks!!!!Btw that tut was long but is so easy--dvd2svcd did everything--Thanks CM for all your work in behalf of all video dymmies like me!!!
