Can't upgrade Nero 5.5.6.0 to 5.5.7.2

My Nero 5.5.6.0 is bundled with my Verbatim Drive. It works fine. But after I d/l and installed 5.5.7.2 from their website, it poped out "not a valid win32 application". Tried to uninstall it first or install the version from CDRSoft. Still the same thing. It seems that it detected my previous version is an OEM one and won't allow me to upgrade. Is it true? Any way to clean reg info?

In fact, I tried both d/l from ahead and cdrsoft. Both of them could not be used after successful installation. It disabled all of the applications under the nero folder. But you can see all of the files there.

Nero 5572 is not a valid Win32 application

Hello forum members I have the same problem when trying to use nero 5572.I have no other version of nero on my system and every time i try to used nero the same message pops up not a valid win32 application.I tryed ahead and cdrsoft sites its the same messeage also i am useing Windows 98.I tryed nero 5551 with no problems berfore i had to reinstall win98.
