Welcome...:)
What about Dual Format DVD/RW Burners? Just making sure you know and other beginners know they can read and write both? :)

I Posted yesterday regarding trouble burning DVD-R. I bought some DVD+R discs, my burner responded and started to burn.
When I tried it in my stand alone DVD player I got Disc Error. My DVD player can only Original DVD's and CD's. It will not play burned CD-R's.

How do I make a DVD+R or DVD-R play in my DVD player? My method of making DVD's is converting SVCD to MPEG2, converting the audio to 48000Hz, patching the conbined audio and video.

If I am doing anything wrong in my process or if there is an alternate easeir process please let me know.

First what player do you have? Also do you know that they play B-Us? If the answer is yes and you can't get it to work I would say try Chickenman said:

I would just author the SVCD mpeg files in DVDLab, it auto does all the conversions etc for you. It can even burn the final DVD as well. They have a fully functional 30 day trial version available.
Good luck
