I am trying to install winoncd 5, but somehow it doesn't work. I get the error "error connecting to scsi...no scsi adapter found". and then another error "CDRTC layer not found". also my cdroms/dvd drives/burners disapeared after I installed winoncd 5, but for that I found the solution ( /http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q314060 )
I have an adaptec scsi adapter and aspi 4.70 (by adaptec). winoncd 5 was already installed on my windows xp, but I got some problems with the OS, some registry values disappeared, and I had to reinstall some programmes incl. winoncd. before it always worked like a charm, but now it doesn't want to install properly. also the service pack 2 does not help. the errors I get seem to indicate a problem with aspi, but I have aspi installed, and winoncd used to work before with the same aspi version installed.
If somebody has the same problems with this programme, or a solution for the problem, please post
