cant copy avi to my dvdrw

can anyone help me to burn avi movie to my dvd writer
it keeps coming up this msg

for your information: i'm using nero 6 as a burning software and my dvd writer is made from asus model drw-0402p

you should encode the video using TMPGEnc...then create DVD FOlder with Nero I guess...then Burn it.

i gues u are using black dvd-r's or dvd-rw's..and it dont detect ?? why dont you reinstall your software, and make sure all cables are plugged in...... and is that movie on a CD or where is it a file ?? if so what is the extension ?? avi or mpg???...

Are you trying to convert the avi to DVD compliant stream or just simply copying the avi to a data DVDR ?

this looks like incompatible media, use the fabricator you always successfully used; maybe the "Ritec" ones;

another cause could be a messed up ASPI Layer; go for Woody's tutorial:
