Cant burn or rip at x1 x2 x3 etc....jus high speed x8

i guys....no matter what speed i set read or write at....the burning programs read and write at very fast speeds......i need to rip and burn a X1 or X2.......i set it at that and it rips or burns at X5 or X8

plz help
