Cannot Print PDF Document

Hi all,

I retrieved a pdf document from the web but I cannot print it because the print button is greyed out. The document properties says "printing not allowed."

Is there a way to get around this security feature and print the document?

Please help!

Unprotect it.

You need Advanced pdf password recovery or Passware, and they'll unprotect the file instantly so you can print & cut & paste.

Do a search in the forum for a link

It means the file is protected and you will need to find tool to remove the protection. I don't remember the name but quite afew utils can do more than removing printing protection.

can you use a program to save it as a jpg

then print it. I have acrobat full version but havent used the protections but I can use the program to save as pdf, jpgs, html etc.

this also might ot be good enough for you but I have screen print gold that allows you to save any screen capture as a bmp which you can resize and print.

Thank you all for the replies.

I can't "save to" to another file format because the only option there is a pdf format.

I am trying to use pdftohtml forggie sent by Pokopiko but until now I still can't figure out why it's not working.

Still in need of a solution here :confused:

I still think you should give a try to Advanced pdf password recovery - it has worked OK for me.

You can find it at h++p://w*w.acedown.com/ -> do a search there for pdf

Tried pdftohtml but it does not work. I got the GUI manager of the program but it also does not work.

:D :D :D it's not what we want to hear but we want to know the name of program you use to crack the protection (kidding) ;) ;)

Ooopppsss! Sorry mates. I think the progie used was Advanced pdf converter. See prior posts in this thread.

Just for the ones that don't know what the attachment i attached does it does the following: It removes the passwords from the PDF's creating a new PDF without any protection.
