cannot install winoncd 5.03

strange, when I try to install winoncd 5.03, I get the error "error using transforms. ensure that the transform directories are valid" (translated by me, the error message is in german, the original says "fehler bei der Anwendung von Transformen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die angegebenen Transformpfade gültig sind"). Then the installation stops. Has somebody else encountered this error and found a solution? winoncd 5.02 installs without problems. maybe this 5.03 version doesn't work on the german windows xp?

I didn't try WOC v5.03, but for v5.0, with the installer in German, it was necessary to change the "regional settings" to "German standard" to install it. After the installation, the settings could be turned back to the default. Maybe is a solution to install v5.03 too?:confused:

I searched a little on google and it turned out that this error message appears when a programme is incompatible with the regional settings. since I get this error message on the german version of windows xp, it may be that winoncd 5.03 works only with english regional settings (UK/US?).

It's very likely to be this the explanation. I got something similar for WOC 5.0 German when I tried to install having "US standard" regional settings, and the solution was to change them to "German standard". Try to reverse this!
