can you ghost be used to avoid reactivation?

i have a legal version of windows server 2003 and want to install it. is it possible to install, activate & use sysprep & ghost the drive so that in the future, if i need to reinstall, i'll just restore the ghost image. thanks.

YES--just as you said--as other appz too....Ghost will just restore your image--so if app was working before--will work again--unless you make mistake when you`re making a image...

if you don't change a huge of your hardware it will work;
after a significant hardware change, phone call M$ for a reactivation; it's the same as the (non Corporate) XP trash;

Used Ghost no end of times on multiple systems and ...... never had a problem yet.

As mentioned by 'zver' if you get your system working okay first, then "ghost" it, you should be able to restore it with no problems. Assuming you don't change any hardware i the meantime.
