23 frames a second is just under NTSC fps it may be a corrupt file
I'm sure if any thing can be done the CM will be able to help!!

Yeh the sound is out of sinc from start to finish it doesnt make any sense because you look at the properties of the divx file of 8 mile and they look the same as the inspecter gadget 2 im having trouble with but 8 mile turned out perfect with no sinc problem at all so i cant see the problem, heres the 8 mile divx properties

Have you checked the time length of both files to see they are the same. Also if you author with dvdmaestro you can off set the audio to compensate for any audio sync being out.

Yeh im not shore how to use mastro im used of using spruseup, but i loaded the two files in mastro and im not shore where to go from there that program is hard to work out how do i authter a dvd in that program,i notest that mastro said the sound was 1 second behind the picture have a look in the pic

The time lengths show in Maestro is quite common and that 1 sec difference is NOT the cause of your sync problems. Selecting the "Create sync Audio track" will also not fix your problem.

Author it in Maestro, does it have the same sync problem as with SpruceUp? If audio preceeds video, then you just simply slide the audio bar 3 sec to the right to delay it. Click the + sign in the Mode area to zoom in on the time line to see how much to slide the audio.

If the audio is trailing the Video, I would suggest you convert your *.mp2 file to an *.ac3 file (with BeSweet or AC3 Machine) and then use AC3 Delay Corrector (from doom9.net download section) to offset the audio. Then author this new file and it will then be in sync.
