can not multi session with nero 6 on xp

I have just joined dvdbase and i am a wee bit of a novice, i am having problems with multi session of data or music on nero 6 using xp

I moved your post so it will get the help it needs, please take the time to post in the correct forum.
Well we will need some more info on your problem so start with your NEROHISTORY.log file. So post that file which you will find in your Nero director. Just leave out your serial number.

multisession for AudioCDs is a no-no, if you like to follow the red book (AudioCD standards);
multisession for DataCDs should work; as PC-Guy wrote, please post your Nero log file;

Also multisession on DVD-R is OK (but not really recommended- out of OSTA DVD specs), while multisession on DVD+R medium is a coaster.
