Can an original Devil May Cry 2 be copied into a DVDR using Record MAX????

I want to know if I can do this because Im thinking in buying the original DMC2 game and then back it up

thanks ....

u can copy it to dvd but it will not run as an original u will probably need a no_cd patc to run the backup

yes you can copy it no problems, if you are running a fat32 hard drive you will need to copy it on the fly (so do it before you start to use it whilst its still new and unused) if you are on ntfs then just createan .gi image and burn that.

you will need a direct boot chip probably as finding an original dvd with a bigger TOC will not be easy for any of the swap chips

it looks like some versions of dmc2 are on a dual layer dvd so it cant be copied, if you get the original make sure you get it from a regionn that is supplying it on 2 single layer dvd's ;)

ABCMan is correct..... There are 2 different formats.....

The NTSC (US) version is on DVD-5...... No problem copying..
It is 2 single layer discs....(Both are 4.37 GB in size)

The PAL (Australlia) version is supposedly on DVD-9.....
(Haven't been able to confirm TOC size as of yet)
